RILUNE / SUPPORT

A little help?

From your first sound to last night’s review, find a starting point here.

How do I listen and set a timer?

Select a sound to play. In Settings, choose a 30-, 60- or 90-minute limit, or turn the timer off. Quiet Fade lowers the sound over the final 10 minutes. Defaults apply to the next new playback; switching content preserves the current rule and deadline.

What do collapse, pause and end listening do?

Collapsing closes the player view while audio continues. Pause keeps the current content and does not resume automatically. The square End Listening button ends the session and hides the dock. To keep the current session going, cancel its automatic stop in the expanded player.

Why are there no sleep records in Review?

On an iPhone, choose Connect Apple Health and decide whether to allow read access. Check that Health already contains records for that date. Missing records, sync delays or a limited readable range can leave Review empty. Authorization completion is not proof of readable records. Rilune does not infer sleep from playback or invent missing stages.

How do I stop sleep reads?

In Review, open Sleep data sources and record notes, then choose Stop reading sleep data. This turns off the app’s reading preference. Manage system permission separately in iOS Health settings. Sleep samples and summaries are cleared from memory when you leave Review or the app enters the background.

How do I add podcasts? Are local feeds supported?

Enter a public RSS feed you have permission to access. Public internet feeds use HTTPS. Explicitly selected local-device and local-network feeds are supported and may require local-network permission. Rilune does not scan your network. Podcasts require a connection; private credentials and offline downloads are unsupported.

Can I change languages or delete local information?

Settings offers Follow System, Simplified Chinese and English without interrupting playback. Remove favorites or delete a podcast from its detail page. There is no one-tap history reset. Deleting the app and its data clears the sandbox; offloading while keeping data does not. Manage Health records and exported files separately.

Do I need an Apple Watch?

Sounds, podcasts, timed fades and review of existing sleep records do not require an Apple Watch. Watch Quiet Fade requires a paired Apple Watch and you must start each observation on the watch.

Which features require Apple Health permission?

Sleep review requires your separate permission to read sleep records in Apple Health. Sounds, podcasts and timed fades do not read Apple Health. Watch Quiet Fade only observes wrist motion during the current observation; it does not read heart rate or sleep records. Health permission is not required to use the rest of the app.

Does Rilune detect sleep and stop automatically?

Rilune does not detect whether you have fallen asleep. After you start observation on Apple Watch, sustained stillness can fade and stop playback earlier; stillness does not confirm sleep. Observation lasts up to about one hour and interruptions preserve the original timer. Apple Music is unavailable.
